I have just got back from my WONDERFUL backpacking Europe trip.
Within 22 days time, we went to 9 COUNTRIES, 16 CITIES and also numerous stop-overs for train transit.
- Dublin (Ireland)
- Faro (Portugal)
- Lisbon (Portugal)
- Madrid (Spain)
- Barcelona (Spain)
- Geneva (Switzerland)
- Rome (Italy)
- Florence (Italy)
- Pisa (Italy)
- Venice (Italy)
- Munich (Germany)
- Budapest (Hungary)
- Berlin (Germany)
- Paris (France)
- Bruges (Belgium)
- Brussels (Belgium)
The trip was fantastic, adventurous, dramatic, educational and dream-fulfilling.
We visited so many museums, art galleries and historical places. There were unexpected surprises everyday with different cities and cultures.
Even just stroll down the streets can turn up to be astonishing with the architecture and the preservation of the centuries buildings.
We got lost a few times. There were once we ended up nowhere in the North of France when it was snowing heavily (we weren't even quite sure how the train ended up there when we supposed to go Geneva, and we were very sure we get up the right train!).
There were once I had to jump up the train when it was already moving! With my heavy backpack, I cannot imaging the consequences of missing the step or falling down?! (It didn't sink in until I sat down and had a chance to think back of how dangerous it had been!)
Well, I am back safely in the UK, and looking forward for my next flight...... Going back home to Malaysia! =)
