才知道
原来这儿的英镑跟英国的英镑不同噢~
虽然GUERNSEY与JERSEY同样是英国属地
但它们却拥有自己的
税务
立法系统
众议院
甚至还发行自己的英镑！
所以在GUERNSEY时
用的是根西英镑
到了JERSEY时
用的是泽西英镑
好厉害~
其实无论根西英镑抑或泽西英镑
币值都与英格兰英镑一样
英格兰英镑在这些岛屿都通用
但是
根西、泽西英镑却无法在英国应用
也不能在国际货币市场通行
英国英镑本身
也有许多化身噢~
上回去苏格兰时已经发现
苏格兰不同银行
还发行不同的苏格兰英镑呢！
同样的
英格兰英镑在苏格兰是通行无阻
但苏格兰英镑来到英格兰
却可能被拒收
有钱不能用啊！

What's different among England, Guernesy & Jersey?
On arriving at Guernsey Island
I realise
they are using different type of pound sterling within Channels Islands
Even though Guernsey and Jersey are both British Crown Dependencies
They have their own taxation, legal and politics systems
They even issue their own banknotes and coins~
Therefore
One is using Guernsey pound in Guernsey
And using Jersey pound in Jersey
Amazing~
Both Guernsey and Jersey pound
Having the same surface value as pound sterling
Bank of England banknotes and coins are widely circulated within the islands
However Guernsey and Jersey pound are not accepted within England
And they are not to be used in international currency market
British banknotes (pound sterling GBP) also have a lot of different issuers
When I was at Scotland
I discover that
Different banknotes are even issued by different banks within Scotland!
Bank of England notes are the legal tender in the UK
Scottish banknotes are not legal tender in England and Wales
They are not illegal to be used
But may not be accepted in England and Wales!
So beware~
