I just got back from my weekly grocery shopping, eating my lunch while watching tv. The news came as a shock! There were more explosions/attempted explosions at three London underground stations and a bus just after lunch time in London. It appeared to be no casualties at the moment, only one injury was reported. Both Tony Blair and John Howard appeared on a news conference and urged people to move on with their normal business.
The first thing came across my mind is, 'what? again? why?' There have been so much talks and investigations going on after London 7/7 incident. How can this happen again? Is this connected to each other in any way?
Racism has arised since the London blasts. Racism has always being in the air and now it get worse. When people talk about Muslims, Asians (Britons called those come from Pakistan, India, Middle East etc as Asians, it's not the same 'Asians' that we normal refer to people come from Asia), tone is changed and suspicious eyes are looking around.
It's sad to see racism exist. It's sad to see people hurting and killing others! Aren't we all human? We should be all the same, and treating other the same as how we want people to treat us! Why should people using the name of religion or race or anything to kill the other? Why should people hate the other because they are not the same colour, same skin as you?
